Otero County Labor Hub
Tool Library
Borrow What You Need, Share What You Can.
Our Tool Library offers free access to tools for construction, repairs, and creative projects. From hammers to circular saws, we’ve got what you need to get the job done. Open to all workers, organizers, and DIYers in New Mexico.
Public Shop
Build, Repair, and Create Collaboratively.
Our community workshop gives you everything you need to work on-site: tools, safety gear, workbenches, and expert guidance. No need to haul supplies- just show up and get started! Some tasks don’t need to be done at your home, and some tasks require a safe workspace. We’ve got you and you’ve got us.
Materials Bank
Reduce Waste, Build Community
Our Materials Bank collects donated lumber, hardware, and other supplies to redistribute for our community’s projects. Need materials for a repair, art piece, or fixing your neighbor’s fence? Take what you need- and donate whatever extra you have to keep the cycle going.
The commons
Learn, Grow, Get Inspired.
The Commons is a hybrid space where we can read DIY books and study trade manuals we’ve got on our shelves, hold a book club or other community meeting, or just take a break and get a drink of water and eat a snack. Rest is productive, after all!
